Stevens and Gorton's Report.

Bolls, Saturday. Within the last ten days we have held three stock sales— at Feilcling on the 25th March, when we yarded 350 head of cattle and over 3,000 sheep,' being many more than were advertised; at Cheltenham on the 30th March, 125 head of cattle and 800 sheep ; and at j Pahnerston on the Ist inst., 200 head of ! cattle and 2,000 sheep. The attendance j at Feilding and Palmerston was good, but, at Cheltenham not m proportion. The bidding was not so spirited at these sales as of late, and sheep hardly maintained previous prices, but we quitted by far the larger majority of the stock, especially at FeUding. We quote: Cattle.— At Feildin j: : Beef, £5 17s 6d ; 2£-yr steers, £4 12* 6d to Mlba; 18---months* steers, £3 to £3 Is ; milkers, £2 10s to £4 -2s 6d; store cows, £2 10*; yearling heifers, 22s 6d ; mixed yearlings, 35s 6d V weaners (steers), 25s 6d; 2 yr (mixed), £3 Bs. At Cheltenham: Fat cows, £4 10s; 2^-yr steers, £4 5s ; cows and calves; £2 17s 6d ; 18-month-olds (mixed), £2 4s ; yearlings steers, £2 ss ; 2-yr steers, £3 12s 6d. At Palmerston : Fat cows, £3 16s to £4; 18-inonths' (mixed),. £2 12s 6d : store cows, £2 10s; cows and calves, £3 ; weaners (mixed), 21s ; yearling and 18-month steers, £2 5s 6d. ''.-•■■ Sheep.— At FeUding : Fat sheep, 8s ; wethers, 6s to 7s ; mixed sheep, 6s 5d ; ewes, 5s Id to 6s ; culls, 2s 6d ; lambs, 4s. At Cheltenham :Lambs f 4s 9d. At Palmerston: Fat wethers, 8s 3d ; good ewes, 6s 9d to 8s; medium, 4s 6d ; shorn lamba, 3s 9d; culls, 2s 3d ; Lincoln rains, 275. j Pigs.— 26s to 295.,
