Three pec cent Consols remain at £100 7s 6d. | New Zealand seenrities — 5 per cent* 10-40 loan, is quoted at £108 ; 4& per cent. 1879-1904 loan is 10s lower, £102 ; 4 per cent, inscribed stock has- also fallen 10s, and is quoted at £102 10s. Colonial . breadstuff's and tallow are without quotable change m value. The Bank and market rate of discount remains at 2 pet. cent. -•■■• The weekly -returns of the Bank of England, published to-day show th» total reserve m notes and bullion to b« £14,600,000. Though the total reserve is equal to that of last w«ek, the propor- - tion of reserve to liabilities has decreased to 41 per cent.
