Competition at both yards was good, all the lines selling at or after the actions at the quotations below. Our Saturday's sale Jor|sundriet and horse passed off well,? about the ushal amount of business being ..done. Cattle —At Waverley, 364 head were sold— 3 yr bullocks, £4 9s; cows m forward condition, 45s to 60s ; steers, 52a 6d ; cows and heifers, 525 ; weahejs, 18s. At St. Hill-street, 255 head wefe ; yarded — Forward bullocks, £5 to £5 10a ; good steers, £4 14s 6d; fat; cdws,> £3g 16i ; steers, 41s 9d to 58s 9d ; cows, 565 ; weahers, 14s to 235, according to- condition ; milch cows, £2 7s to £6 12"s 6d. Sheep.-— -At 734 .were sold — Store wethers, 6s 3d ; ewes, 5s 6d; lambs, 3s 6d to 4s 2d ; old' ewes 2s. At St. Hill street, 1224 were Bold— Best wethers, 9s 2d ; others, 7s lOd Ito 8s; breeding ewes, 5s to 7s 6d ; one. Jine of 2-tooth ewes the owners refused 10s. Eigs.---The pens were full. Price* ruled at about last sales, quotations — 8s ,to 15s ; sowp up to 22s ; small* pigs, 5s to ■tfs.. ■ ■' ."
