Australian Wine Duty.
PEPUTATION TO SIR VEBNON (BY ELECTRIC TELEaBAPH— COPYRIftHT.) (BEUTBBB' TELKGBAMS.") London, March 16. A deputation of persons interested m the importation of Australian wines had an interview with. Sir William Vernon Harcourt to-day, when the subject of the duty upon colonial wine was entered uDon. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, m reply to the deputation, said he was not at present^preuared to take action m the matter, but promised to give the subject careful consideration.
