At the - Supreme Court m "banco this morning an application was made to have Edward Shaw, barrister, struck oft the roll on tlie gronrid of alleged misappropriation of a client's money. Mr licoe made the application on behalf of one Henry Stevens, of Mastecton, who Had paid money to Shaw to prosecute an action, btit the. services were never ren? dered and'Stevens alleges his case was therefore, prejudiced. The defence is that Shaw, was unable to attend through illness, and that lie authorised , the engagement of another professional gentleman. Argument is proceeding.
