Service of Song.
S A Service of Bong entitled ■'.' Jessioa's First Prayer " was repeated in 1 ' the Bunnythorpe Schoolhouse last evening. There was a very good attendance, and the entertainment was enjoyed and appreciated..by alk present. The connective readings were •effectively given by Mr J. Dixon ; the musical" acooro- , paniments ori the harmonium being executed by Mrs Dixon. The Service of Song comprisedjsolos, duetts, quartettes, knd choruses, which were rendered m a* style most creditable for such a small place as Bunnythorpe, the singers entef ing heartily iuto'lhe singing aud quite surprising the audience with the skill,' taste, and execution displayed. The service was opened by a few" words "of prayer offered by Mr J.- Dixon, softer . which the reading part of thi Service pf Song was commenced. - Tha jiuusical part of tho programme was as' follows : — Tis not with Bustle, Chorus; Tis Blessed ;to Give, .Chorus^ Speak -the Truth, Chorus ; Popr Little Jessica, Duett and Uhoriis • Let us Join, Solo, Quartette, and Ghorus ; The Guiding Hand) Solo 1 and! Chorus;; Yet there is Room, Chorus ;, Cheerful Voices, Duett and Clioffis ;■ Our Father who art m Heaven, Chant ; Tia not Fine Words; Chorus ;"W© all might do' Good, Chorus ; 'Reraerober the- Poor, Chorus : The fiord will Provide; Ghorus ; And übwappears the ahades of night, Chorug : Come ye Blessed, Duett aiid Chorus ; In . Silence jUnbroken, Duett ; Blessed is the: People, Chorus. The solos vvera taken by Misses Boddy and Dixon, Mesdaniesj and Dixon, Misses N.lJixon' land A. Clevely, and Mr j. Dixon.'
