Professor Thomas, of Auckland, has been enquiring into tli ! existence of parasites among sheep m this colony. He has just roturne 1 from-tlm South island and is going up the Wast Coast of this Island. The E:ist. Coast the professor has already visited, t.The result of his observations is that the Colony is singularly free from any parasitic pe.st. The season has been eminently unfavorable to lung worm, etc.
