(UNITED PRKRS ASSOCIATION ) Napier, Thursday. A boy fourteen years of age, named Thomas Kavanagli, who is of respectable p.-irentagp, was committed for trial to-day on two charges of breaking end entering dwelling-houses and stealing money and small articles. Dunedim, Thursday. Alfred Wool, a chemist of Green Island, was found dead m his bed this morning. Deeased is supposed, to be the victim of au overdose of morphia, taken to procure sleep while suffering from neuralgia. He is a married man with a family. A sub-contractor on the Otago Central was killed yesterday by an ex. plosion of a chnrgo which missed fire His name was John Russell, and he has a wife. in Dunediu. A navvy named John Mc-Grath was hurt about the face i and eyes at the same lime.
