S B unn preached iu the morning from Proverbs " He that winneth souls is wise." In. the afternoon from one of the gospels, "And they brought* yo ! »ng children to Him." And in the evening from Genesis, " Oh that Isluoael might before thee.'' The discourses were eloquent and impressive, and the congregations unusually _ large, especially at night, when both the body of the church and gallery were deusely packed. The ! children, were arranged at the upper end of the church, and with the choir occupied the space around tho pulpit "and communion Tails. Hymns* printed for the occassion . were; distributed throughout the church, and the rendjtion of .these by the carefully trained children and choir, was much admired. Mir 1 Hartley conducted the [singers, .'. and Mi'ss Mo wlem presided with her usual skill at the organ. This evening! the Anniveeßary ■- tea meeting will (take place, which will be followed by' a musical entertainment in' the church, at' which addresses will be delivered, . and the Sunday School report read. ■ - •'
