PLANS FOB NEW BUILDINGS. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, Thursday. At the meeting of the Government Insurance Association Board this afternoon, the report of Messrs Bontson and O'Conner,of the Public Works Depart tnent, to whom the competing designs for the new insurance buildings were •'referrod, was discussed, when the first premium was atvardcd to Mr / Joshua, Charlesworth, of Auckland, and tl>«j secone to Mr Thoinas.Turiibiill, of Wei Hunton. Jt was also decided that at present only ihat part of the- building for which tenants have already been secured is to be constructed. . Mr Turnbull has informed the general manager" of! the Association that he declines, } to accept the second premium, preferring to retain tho design as • his own property. ■ .
