School Sites.— Mr Bridge said that there were a number of school sites m the Hawera district covered with bush, and moved that they should be found out by the secretary, with a vie>? to leasing them. — Carried. Kiinbolton Road .—Mr Pry alluded to' the difficulties met with m the management of two half time schools m Kimbolton Road, and moved that m future teachers m charge of two half-time schools should be paid .at the same rate as full time teachers, the attendances; being averaged as those of one school. — ; Carried. . Nominations.— The list of nominations as already published were read, and the date of closing fixed for Saturda}', 27th of -. March. , - . : , Chairman's Eeporfc. — This lengthy document was read, and adopted on the motion of Mr Baker, seconded by Mr Stevens, both of whom referred m com-: plimentary terms to the drafters of the report. — The Inspector's report was held over till the next meeting. — Relative to the estimates the Finance Committee were instructed to prepare them for next meeting. Foxton, — A letter from Mr Thynrie stated that the contractor for- the tencing ' had thrown up the work.^-tßes'olved that ! Mr Tyrine be empowered to accept another tender.
