Bunnythorpe Blue Ribbon Meeting.

A most enjoyable and successful meeting, under the auspices, of the Slue Ribbon Society, was'held last evening in the Bunnythorpe Schoolhouse: : The meeting was opened by singing and prayer, after which the chairman (Mr J. Dixon) in a short address pointed out very plainly the necessity of jail present donning the blue. Recitations .were contributed by Messrs H. Jeffries, .F. Nettie, Walter Dixon, and Miss Boddy,. jmd were loudly applauded. Mr Stuart, assisted by Mr T. Rogers, in his rendering of "Orace 'Smith's Address to the Mummy," was all jthat could;))©; desired. The audience were favored' with ' €wo songs given by Mrs Thomas, and^pne by Mr Aldrich. Mr J. Dixon/s reading was a temperance piece giyen'iin -Sne style, and was thoroughly appreciated. Before the meeting broke up some JO u donned the blue " and sighed the ' pledge.
