Sale Of Privileges.
The privileges m connection with the autumn meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club were sold at auction by Messrs Stevens and Gorton on Saturday. The following prices were realised :— Gates, A. Hannet £55 ; Grand Stand and Lawn, W. H. Boon 10s ; Saddling Paddock, J. McElwain £10 ; No. 1 Publican's Booth, E. Belve £16 ; No. 2 Publican's Booth, D." Clifford £11; Refreshment Booth, -T. D. Fraser £2 ; Fruit Stall, W. Johnston £1 10s; Legal Games. E Jones £4 5s ; Horse Paddock, T. Cranwell .£1 2s bd ; Correct Cards, E Jones i>lo.lss. Total, £184 2s 6d.
