Tlie exertions mede to rescue the mine manager and two miners who wore unabie to escape, resulted m recovering the mine manager m a conscious state. The othor two inon were brought op dead, apparently suffocated. Latest. The fire is still burning iv the Lithgow Colliery, all efforts to extinguish tlje flames have proved unavailing. The manager of the mine who was rescued iv a'state of insensihilitv has since died.
