THe weather was fine, and about GOO pewona were present, being put through the totalisators during the day. The meeting was marred by protests, and some accidents occurred. The Maiden Trpt,<pf £20, three' miles, was won easily by Mr P*t. ton's Conger, but the result was protested against. No decision has vet been arrived at.
