Arrival of Cardinal Moran.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION) : Dunedin, Thursday. About 1500 people assembled at the railway station to met Cardinal Moran on hialarrival by' the South exprbsS. On theHrain reaching the station tl"'e \Cardinal was greatly cheered. He . was placed m a carriage drawn by four greys, Bishop Moran, and the Catholic representative, Mr Petrie, being m thy same carriage. A procession 'was ,thi-n formed, and proceeded from the station to the new Cathedral, where an arch bearing the .inscriptions of wclconie,an.i decorated with evergreens was erected. On reaching the new Cathedral addres .868 were presented by . Archdeacon Ool«raan on behalf of the clergy, and by Mr Callan on bfhalf of -the laity, to whicn theCardinal replied, referring to -.t^he .fight , which, the ;■ church ,wasr ■^ellVd^o wage 'igaihst false libVralirfm . After the service the Cardinal was conducted ;to the Biahop'B:'reßjdence, .^ljero fireworks, fooketV l '&c., wete let off. ,
