. (UNITED Pft'RSS ASSOCIATION.} - 1 Auckland, Wednesday. The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand met this evening at St. Andrew's Church. The opening sermon was preached by the Rev. J. Treadwell, retiring Moderator. Rev. Mr Cairns, Sydenhain, was elected Moderator, and delivered a lengthy address. ;
