An ordinary montlily meeting of this Board wns held on Sat i rday afternoon. Prt'Bent — Wardens Maiiiithur (chairman), Bail« 3-, Lethl)ri<ls;e and Whibley. Aldrich, offering-, on behalf of settlers on the Bunnythbrpe-Ashnrst-rpad, to form and metal a mile of that road at £3 5s per chain to the satisfaction of the engineer; to be repaid to them when the board is m funds. R(isolvecl, " That Messrs Warne and Beard's offer of metalling Pohangina road be accepted, according to the terms of their letter, aud any expense of repajriovjer and above the [ordinary maintenance be borne by them." Resolved," That Mr AldriKa offer be accepted, subject to the condition that the money will not be paid until two yeais from tin; completion of the work," Resolved "That the dog tax for 1886 be the same .as, last year, . 10s ; and the collection fees the same." The usual monthly accounts were passed for. payment and the board adjourned. .....'_
