Flying Handicap, 6o soys. To start at 12.30 p.m. Nomination, 1 soy., acceptance, 2 soys Distance,, six furlongs. 4. Selling Hack Race, SO soys. To start at 1.15 p.m. Post entry 1 soy. Weight not less than U stone. For all hacks that have never won public, money (hack races exceptud). The winiie'r of this race to become the property of the Stewards, and to be sold immediately after the race. Any other horse m the race may be be put up to auction at the request of any Steward or competitor m the race, the owner to receive the dpset price of £20. any further sum realised to no to the funds of the Club. ! No entry will be received lor any Races except upon this condition, — That nil Disputes, Claims, and Objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom- they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall be final. All Entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Palmerston'North ; Entrance Money en- : closed with Name, Age at the time of Entry, PediI gree, and, m the exse of Handicaps,. Performances of the Horse, Name of the owner, and Colour's of the . Rider. Any Jockey riding except m the colours en- ' tercd will be fined 3 soys. When two or more horses start (the. property of one owner) a Distinguishing Colour must be w.om. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are required to give Notice to that cftect to the Secretary or Clerk ot the Scales one half.hour before shirting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply' with . this Rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys. to the Race Fund. All races to be run under the WJ.C. Rules. v. Horses walking over will only receive half the Stakes. No horse to save its stakes m any race except where otherwise specified.
