(electric telegraph. — copyright,) -- (reuter's telegrams.) Sydney, Thursday. The Colonial Treasurer brought down his Budget m the Legislative Assembly to-night. He estimates the deficit for the current year at nearly £1,704,000. .He proposed to levy a tax of £d m the £ on real estate, the capital ot all banks and dividend-paying companies, and all descriptions of goods stored. Probate duties will also be increased. Mr Burns expects to realise £650,000 per annum from the projected new taxation.
