Theatre.

The Eloise Juno Company made their first appearance m the Theatre last night, and we must say without.doubt they are one of the most accomplished troupes we have eve* had the pleasure of seeing. Miss Eioise Juno m her double character of Nellie Howard and Miss Kihnarmock was simply perfection from beginning to' fiiiish. Her representation of the female strategist could not be equalled, and her Scotch accent was noticeably pferl'ect. She also kept' her-' self m favor' with the audience throujj h the whole of the piece, being repeatedly applauded during the evening. Mr C. H. Taylor as Jaok: Rutledge, the male strategist, was admirable and filled tHe house with roars of laughter ; his changes of characters were perfect, and m the drunken scene with. Major. Howard he simply", hrought down the house. Miss Ella Carrington as the model maid servant was a little gem, and' we hope to see her to better advantage m other characters. Mr J. J. Kennedy caused convulsions of laughter, also Mr H. H. Hoi ton as the French sergeant ; m fact the whole of the characters were ably represented, and the audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy the entertainment all through. To-night the ." Ticket of Leave ■Man" wtll be played.
