Lecture.

Mi 88 Chapman gave her second lecture at the Theatre last evening on "Hell, Purgatory, and Limbo." The. discourse we need hardly say was a warm one and we i i should say was delivered m Miss Chapman's best style. The audience repeatedly expressedits appreciation of the fair speaker's eloquence and was more than * once convulsed with mirth at the laugh- *'■* able though withal common sense statemerits made by the lecturers when speaking of the hot blace referred to m the subject of her address. Mr Jas. Linton occupied the chair and at the conclusion of the lecture conveyed a vote of thanks to 'the speaker for her eloqeuent address.
