I Messrs E. Lyon and, Sun have left jat our office a sample of their ginger ale and horehound beer, to the manufacture of which the ftrtn< devote special 'care and attention. The two articles jare certainly ruoat palatable, and are !very refreshing ,. and wholesome bever,,ages m hot weather. The ginger^ale is scarcelyrto' be distinguished from the itn- , jported article,buing effervesceht,aud very jl>lea»antly flavoured. Poured out io a tumbler it effervesces like ..champagne and is extremely refreshing. The hor#hound beer has special medicinal qiialitifs'jfcnil has been used with beneficial effect m ailments of the cheat and stomach. Of its purity and freedom from injurious ingredients, there, can be no doubt, -and its efficacy as a medicated summer drink is testified to by many who have used it. Mr Lyon has considerably benefited by some trade ■" ,wri nicies'' he picked-up during his 'recent Home tour, and he is now gaining a reputation all over the district for the excellence, and purity of . the various beverages which are sent from his taetnry. ....'. •.-..... .
