WiuteAiroi, Wednesday. -Stock has only come forward m limited numbers during the past fort--1 night, the continued hot, dry weather almost stopping all basiness m stook transaction. At Waverley we sold about one-half^ol-the^entries. At. St. Hilt street on Wednesday, the yards were nearly empfcyj about 800 fat sheep and a small line of forward store bullookg making up the sale. These- were sold at the quotations below. Pigs were well represented as far as numbers were* concerned, and sold at fair values, nearlyVall being taken for export. Our Saturday sales for horses ar >. well attended, a numbar changing h uids at current rates; yesterday we sold nearly all that offered. All descriptions oil poultry are at lower values. Cattle.— 3-yr-old forward bullocks, £4 10s ; milch co wsj £5 2s 6d Sheep.— Fat wethers, 7$ to 7» 9d ; stores 6s 6d. Pigs.— Good porkers, 18s 6d to 2ss; stores, 6s to 12s 6d, according to f iaa and quality. Horses. — Good sound hacks, £8 to £12 ; medium, J55 to £8 ; weeds and 1 screws, 20s to 455. , ' , ■ c i Poultry.— Turkeys,'. 4s to 5s each; ducks, 2s 7d to 3b 4d ; fowls, 2b 2d to 2a 9d the couple. '
