LOCAL AND GENERAL.
The following names were proposed m Committee last evening, as members of the Choral Society, and duly elected honorary :— Messrs . I. McDowell, Bryant, Hankins, W. Robinson, H. McNeil, Welch, Walkley, R. Leary, F. Jenssen, J. Clapperton, J. P. Leary, Milton, Biddel, Hamilton, W. Akers, Godfrey, Palnierson, Haultain, and Raven. Working members — Messrs Copinger, A. Skernian, A. Black, Watohorn, Shortt, A. Whibley, Grimes, Taylor, and Hawkins ; Misses Hawkins, Patterson, and Randolph ; Mesdanaes Pirani and Marsh. It was decided to hold the inaue'ural concert on or about the last Thursday m February. ,
