Ashqrst. ,, " Old Stick'! shows! criticism, &c, and informs. the public' that young cricketers should do as they aire told , and play with a, siraighti bat. iNow I should advise " Old Stick " if he knows so ; much about . cricket to turn out of a.n evening, and the JRoverg will only be, too glad to take some lessons from him, and as for iuyself, if he; can. teach me m, any ; of _th_e departments of thegame I shall be most drilling to learn, as ie is by deeds and; not by idle words that, a match is-won «t#?-last Saturday's match.
