Melbourne Wool Sales.

Melbourne, Wednesday. Messrs Goldsborou«h and Co. (Limited) held their usual weekly sale of wool yesterday. The attendance of buyers was large, and the competition for the various lots offered was of an animated character. Two thousand bales were submitted to competition, of which 1500 bales were disposed of at satisfactory prices. The market is ruling very firm at late rates. Light crooss-bred, and heavy scoured wools were m good demand. Greasy merino sold up to B£d, while scoured wools realised as much as 2s 4£d per lb/
