Fearful Colliery Disaster.
SAD LOSS OF LIFE.
(electrtc telegraph. — copyright.) (redter'b telegrams.) London, Dec. 24. A most disastrous explosion occurred at the Mardy Colliery, near Pontypridd. Over 200 miners are still below ground, and it is feared that they have perished. Later. Later advices from PontvDridd state that the majority of miners employed at the Mardy Colliery are safe. It is definitely known, however, that 76 men have lost their lives.
