The doctors agreed that the dißco]onrations were the results of blows which had caused death. We were glad to see Mr Keeling, our worthy Town Clerk, out again to-day for the first time. He looked anything but strong after his recent protracted illness which obliged him to keep the house for a number of days together. His ailment was partly asthma, to which he is very subject, and partly bronchitis. The weather has been against his more rapid recovery. Our telegram* announce a disastrous fire m Wellington early this morning. If the weather was similar to that here, some idea may be formed of the irresistible fury of the conflagration. Had a fire broken out m the Square to-day the probable results are fearful even to contemplate.
