Appointments Committee.— -The fol* lowing business was transacted m Com* | nnttee ; Palmerston North ; A pupil teacher to be appointed at Terrace End* — Turakina : Rev Mr Parkes* resignation accepted.— Moutoa : A letter from th* Committee re the reduction to aided schools was leceived. The Board re- ; solved to adhere to its resolution th* committee to have assistance. — BarmyI thorpe : Mr Stewart applied for the situation, name to be sent to Committee. — Asburat : Miss Hedley-was appointed subject to the approval of the Inspector,. and examination m 6th Standard m March next. — Beaconsfield : The name! of those not successful at Grotton to be sent to B aconsfield.— Saoson : Arthur Pearce to be appointed cadet subject tp the approval of thu Inspector. — Palmerston North : Resolved, that than tines nf Messrs Mathieson, Pule, Getting, Low* and Dekney be forwarded to the Coin* rait tee as applicants for the assistant* mastership. Executive Committee. — The Chairman reported that he had accepted tend* era for the Taonui School, £51, and the) Boys School fencing, £& 10s.
