N. Fleming, Campbelton, Scotland ; her 'sire, the celebrated horse Lofty Wallace, gained first prizes before leaving the' Old Country; Maggie was bred by Mr Sutherland. Taieri, Otsigo, out of a Napoleon mare, by Sir William Wallace (imported). Sir William Wallace bred by William Anderson, Esq., Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, out of Brisk, by Garibaldi. As a yearling took .'first prize at Maybole, Kirkmichael, and Glasgow, and second, at Ayr. As. a two-year,-old, second at Ayr 'and Glasgow; arid also second at the Highland.
