Amoßt disastrous' fire broke out yes- ; ierday at the warehouses of Messrs Crook* and Brooker, Port Adelaide, -the whole of which were completely destroyed. Some other adjoining warehouses had a narrow^escape. Messrs Crooke and Brooker estimate the damage at £36.000 to £40,000.
