Diomedea was awarded first prize at the Wanganui A. aud P. Association's Show as a sire best calculated to improve the breed of saddle horses. Diomedeß is a rich bay with black points, standing 16§ hands high, with immense bone and muscle, good action, is 7 years old, and is considered to be one of the best cross-country horses m New Zealand.
