■T-o Stand this Season m the Man w tv and Woodville Districts. .. _ THE PURE-BRED CLYDESDALE HORSE CTTATCHMAN, foaled Ist November, W 1878, and is now rising five years old ; sire Fowler's Wallace, dani Maggie ; is a rich, brown, is 16£ hands high, has a cleans flinty bone and nice hair, and is very active. His sire, the pure imported Clydesdale horse, Fowler's Wallace, bred by Mr Donald McKinley, Wouldham Hall, near Gloucester, out of a pure Clydesdale mare, bred by MrJ. N. Fleming, Campbelton, Scotland ; her sire, the celebrsvted horse Lofty Wallace, gained several first prizes before leaving the Old. Country. Maggie was bred by Mr Sutherland, Taieri, Otago, out of a Napoleon mare, by Sir William Wallace (imported). Sir William Wallace bred by William Anderson, Bso^., Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, out of Brisk, by Garibaldi. As a yearling took first prize at Maybole, Kirkmichael, and Glasgow, and second at Ayr. As a two-year-old, second at Ayr and Glasgow, and also second at the Highland Society's Show held that year at Edinburgh* ;- and when only three days landed m Otago took second prize against horses of -all ages at the Taieriy although only 2£ years old. .
