The Wool Sales.
GOOD PBiCES IN WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Loan and Mercan* tile Agency Company (Limited) hold their first wool stile of the season yesterday, when about 850 bales were submitted for competition. The greater portion of the catalogue consisted of crossbred wools, the well-grown, clean lots of which brought good prices. Valuei generally ranged from od to 7|d. Th» sale may certainly be viewed as satufac • tory, and no doubt clips of various sizes will now find their way to the local auction rooms. The next sales will be held m about two weeks' time.
