The Mayor has received inioimilion that the Government will bo able to provide foe about 120 by the beginning of next week. . ■ Avckland, Thursday. A meeting of the unemployed-has been held at the Chor.il ilall, Mr*F. J. Moss, M. U.U.. presiding, to uscerUiin the number of men unemployed and the trades represented. One hundred and thirty m the meeting stated that they were unemployed, being principally labourers and lioude cripts who would go to anything. A fall list is to bo made out and torward ed to the Government.
