Melbourne Wool Sales.
Melbourne, Wednesday. Messrs Goldsborough and Co. (Limited) held their usual weekly sale of wool tor day. The attendance of buyers was large, and ;the competition for the various lots offered was of an animated character. 4700 bales were disposed of during the sale ; for greasy merino as much as lljd was obtained ; lambs' wool sold tip to Is £d, while scoured wools brought as much as 17$ per Ib. ' .
