Nominations for the Woodville Sports will ciose on Friday next. Complaints are again made of the lack of punctuality which is characteristic of the nightman's visits to several parts of the town. Certain nights are fixed upon by him, the premises are left npen for his convenience, and ho never puts m an appearance at all. Then the night when he does condescend to go his rounds, possibly the premises are locked and consequently the places remain unemptied, and so become a nuisance. Wo'have heard a great many complaints of this kind, and think it should be the duty of Mr Hill to make inquiry into the circumstances at once m the interests of the public.
