AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH — COPYRIGTHT TELEGRAMS.) Sydney, Saturday. In the Legislative Assembly to-day the Premier (Mr Dibbs) made a Ministerial statement. He announced the intention of the Government not to resign, and promised to bring down his Financial Statement beforo the Christmas recess. On the motion of Sir John Robertson, the Legislative Assembly has adjourned until the 9th instant m order to prevent the Government from proceeding with business.
