The New Zealand^ Mercantile and Agency > Company held their usual ■weekly sale of wool this afternoon. An important catalogue consisting* of 5,000 hales was submitted to competition. The bidding was spirited throughout, the market being active at late rates. Gressy merino wools sold up to Is., scoured wools to 15|d., and washed to lsOfd.
