THE QUARTZ TESTED BY PROFESSOR BLACK. ONLY TRACES OF GOLD FOUND. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Thames, Wednesday. Samples of quartz from the Pohangina district, Wellington, wero arranged and subjected to the liquid test by Profeß9or Black and staff today, and m each case merely traces of the precious metal were found.
