Sik — I should feel obliged if you would allow mo to try and correct a false impression that some words I spoVe lust night at the " Lyceum" might have conveyed to the audience. I wished to convey the idea that when we see Christ face to face the raison d'etre of the Bible will cease. lam so pained at the war m which the Word of God is used that I used an expression that uu* tliinkinsr people mi?ht have misunderstood. I should be sorry that any Christian should think that I did not look upon the Bible is the " Book of Books," inspired by God. — I am, &c, F. H. Smith Nov. 30th, 1885.
