AN EXPRESSION OF OPINION.
(TO THE EDITOR OF THE STANDARD.) Sik, — Being one of those present at the Lyceum last evening I think that Mr Smith did not have fair play. It was impossible for him to fully explain his idoas on the snbject, considering the many interruptions that he received from the one who at the commencement oil the meeting requested the audience that he might have a fair hearing, and who was the first to interrupt. The subject was one that had taken a great deal of mental study, and I think should have had an uninterrupted hearing. — I am, &c, One who Bkmkves m Fair Play.
