Marton, Friday. Our stock sale at the'Clnb Yards yesterday were well attended, and thebidding for cattle was spirited, nearly all the pens beiug sold under the hammer at a good advance on vendors' reserves. Sheep however showed evidence of a steady decline. 200 head of cattle and 450 sheep made up our sale. We quote : — 3-yr-old steers, £4 7« 6d; 2-yr-old, steers £2 16s 6d to £3 10s; dairy cows, £2 lls to A3 ; cows and calves, £2 5s to £2 10s; yearling and 18-moutha, 24s to 255 ; hoggets, shorn, 5s ,• ewes and lambs m wool, 10s ; wetberi, inferior, 9s Bd,
