CUNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, Wednesday. There was a good deal of excitement here over the Mayoral election. Councillor A. W. Brown was elected by a majority of 43. ■ " Blenheim, Wednesday. . For the Mayoralty - George Henderson was re-elected by a majority of 25 over William Douslin, after the keenest municipal fight ever known m Blenheim. Ddnediw, Wednesday. John Barnes was elected Mayor by a majority of 165 over Spedding. Hokitika, Wednesday. A very keen contest for the Mayoralty election resulted m the election of Mr J«hn Tait.' The votes were Tait, 172 ; Michel, 166. Gbbymouth, Thursday. Nancarrow defeated Blackinore for Mayoralty by 209 to 82.
