The credit of the firm of Henty 'and Co. is not affected by the failure. Wednesday. The- list of creditors of 'Henry Henty, whose failure was announced yesterday, includes among other names, National Bank of Australasia (who do not claim on the estate J, ; Hon.. William Campbell. £45,006; and National Bank of New Zealand, The Federal Enabling Bill was read a second time m the Legislative: Council last night, but. the final passing of the measure was post- ! poned, pending the* ultimate action t of the South Australian- Legislature which at present is somewhat uncertain, owing to the -hostile attitude maintained on 'the sujbject by the Opposition.- ? «
