Sir;— ln Saturday's Times appears tho following : — " Party politics have not yet found a footing; m this community, though several discreditable attempts have been made to get m the thin end of the wedge?" * Now, sir, I eiipposft no one ■m the community has tried harder and more persistently to introduce party politics than the editor of the Times. iHik ; whole study appears to have been; .judging , by the tone of articles m his paper, from time to time, to stir it p parky politics. Of .course t}»eaiui was the public good, nothing else.
