CAPTURE OF BURMESE POSITION.

Major - General Prendergast announce that the British forces have captured Minlah The fightting was of "a yery stubborn character and lasted fuliy three hours. * ; ■ The whole of the Burmese positions were carried by assault. The British, loss is slight. Major Prendergast is now advancing upon Mandalay. • Sofia, Nov. 18. Telegrams state that Prince Alexander yesterday carried the Servian positions menacing Lionitza", and forced the invaders to retire.
