; Wanganui, Wedneaday. ] A large number of cattle came forjyard' yesterday. The bidding wras ' brisk throughout, and prices fairly maintained, though I did nut place all that offered. The bulk of the sheep that were i penned found buyers after the auotioh, but the inclination of the trade was not to buy, presuiniqg that on the face of the extreme' low ratea ruling for tallow, prices must giye way still farther. I believe a fall ot° 2s per head as between the prices ruling this time last year would be a T fair ' quotation for fat sheep. A large number of ; horßes,oarae. forward oq Saturday. The greater number were sold at current 'rates.
