Telegrams have been received from Cooktown which tend to confirm a the truth of the report concerning the massacre m New Guinea of !New South Wales Geographical Expedition. :... The message says the camp was surprised during the night about 137 milea up Fly River and party slaughtered by: an overwhelming force of natives.
